Newark Valley Central School District is seeking a special education teacher to provide direct instruction to students with disabilities in an inclusive setting. The ideal candidate will be able to: Design, implement, and monitor progress of IEP goalsProvide instruction to meet diverse student needs and support student achievementPartner with the classroom teacher differentiate activities and/or implement specially designed instruction for students with a variety of needsCollaborate with the student’s related services team to ensure the provision of high-quality servicesAccurately complete all paperwork in a timely manner per New York State/school policies/proceduresCandidate must have a Students with Disabilities (Grades 1-6) or Special Education-Permanent (K-12) NYS Certification.This position includes a highly competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for professional learning, continued growth, and mentored support.
