The Niskayuna Central School District is now accepting applications for a temporary Teaching Assistant. ASSIGNMENT: Special Education; 30 hours per week. Tentative Leave Dates 3/27/25-6/27/25. QUALIFICATIONS: New York State Teaching Assistant Certification preferred. Exceptional candidates without certification will be considered for employment as a Substitute Teaching Assistant (for a maximum of 40 school days) until certification is desired. Minimum requirements include: High school diploma or equivalent. New Your State Assessment of Teaching Assistant Skills (ATAS). Completion of workshops in: Child Abuse Identification, School Violence, and Dignity for All Students (DASA).
