The Niskayuna Central School District is now accepting applications for a Temporary Teaching Assistant. ASSIGNMENT: Niskayuna High School; Special Education; 1:1 Teaching Assistant; 32.5 hours per week. QUALIFICATIONS: New York State Teaching Assistant Certification preferred. Exceptional candidates without certification will be considered for employment as a Substitute Teaching Assistant (for a maximum of 40 school days) until certification is desired. Minimum requirements include: High school diploma or equivalent. New Your State Assessment of Teaching Assistant Skills (ATAS) Completion of workshops in: Child Abuse Identiifcation, School Violence, and Diginity for All Students (DASA).
