The Niskayuna Central School District has an opening and is accepting applications for a probationary Assistant Principal - Middle School. Assignment: Van Antwerp Middle School; 12 months SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assist with the implementation of the Code of Conduct. • Assist with the observation and evaluation of instructional and non-instructional staff. • Provide direction and support for assigned instructional areas. • Coordinate the master schedule. • Coordinate compliance with health & safety issues. • Oversight of Academic Intervention Services. • Other duties and tasks as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Certification as a New York State School Building Leader (SBL) or School District Administrator (SDA).NOTE: Selected applicant will be subject to a fingerprint supported criminal history background check in accordance with SAVE Legislation effective July 1, 2001.
