POSITION: Technology Teacher – Probationary Appointment EFFECTIVE DATE: September 1, 2026 LOCATION: Middle/High School QUALIFICATIONS: New York State Technology Education Certification Required Experience teaching technology at the middle or high school level preferred. Strong classroom management and communication skills. RESPONSIBILITIES: The ideal candidate will bring expertise in teaching technology (CTE) to middle and high school-level students, implement curriculum and instruction for students to explore and develop skills in areas such as fundamental industrial art skills, woodworking, and emerging technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Develop an engaging, age-appropriate curriculum that integrates practical and theoretical aspects of technology. -Content knowledge of technology coursework, including shop safety protocols - Support student learning through hands-on projects.
