The district is seeking candidates who: Hold high expectations for all students and deeply value the importance of diversity, equity and inclusion Have a strong commitment to supporting the academic as well as the social/emotional well-being of students Demonstrate a deep capacity for utilizing research-informed learning strategies, data-driven instructional practices and professional self-reflection to improve student outcomes Possess a thorough understanding of how to use differentiated instruction to actively and meaningfully engage students in learning subject area content and skills Will dynamically integrate learning technologies and digital resources Are knowledgeable about various approaches to assessment including the use of literacy portfolios as well as authentic and project-based assessments.
