Must be certified in special education K-6 or Birth through 2nd grade. Successful candidates should have NYS Teacher Certification and experience working with children with Autism and related disabilities. Responsibilities include: Delivery of Specially Designed Instruction as aligned with NYS Standards.Carrying out and maintaining all instructional aspects of a student’s IEP.Completing progress reports and Annual Review reports for the IEPs.Delivering classroom instructional programs and adjusting based on the needs of the students.Collaborate with peers and support staff.Maintaining a classroom environment that is conducive to instruction.
