Young Middle School. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in the New York State Next Generation ELA Learning Standards and skilled in engaging a diverse student population. Applicants must hold appropriate New York State teaching certification at the time of application. Dual certification in ESL or a Reading/Literacy Extension is a plus. Key responsibilities include: Dedication to creating a safe, purposeful, positive classroom environment that prioritizes learning and a love for literacy.Design and implement differentiated instruction and small group strategies to meet varied student needs.Use data to inform and drive instructional decisions.
