City School District of New RochelleEmbracing Diversity: Driving Success Seeking a Certified Technology Education teacher who can teach technology and STEAM-related subjects, including computer science, digital literacy, coding, robotics, web design, and other emerging tech fields, to middle school students. Develop and implement engaging, hands-on lessons that cater to diverse learning styles. Integrate technology into the curriculum to enhance student learning and critical thinking skills. Create a classroom environment conducive to creativity, collaboration, and problem[1]solving. Assess student performance, provide timely feedback, and implement strategies to support students’ growth. Collaborate with other educators to design cross-curricular projects and initiatives. Expose students to careers and professionals in technology and STEM field. Host STEAM fair for students to showcase projects. Create and implement design challenges that allow students to develop solutions to real-world problems. Participate in school meetings, professional development, and contribute to the overall goals of the school. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Technology Education, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s degree preferred). Valid New York State certification in Technology Education.
