Reports to: Assistant Directors of Special Education Role: The ESY Program Leader is a seasonal leadership position that is responsible for the preparation, planning, and supervision required to oversee the day-to-day operations of the ESY program (i.e., student management, transportation, and scheduling). Job Description:Attend pre-program preparation and planning meetings Assist with interviewing and hiring the ESY staffAssist with scheduling students into classes and their related services (including related services only students)Assist with assigning staffSet up e-School and ULS accounts for staffEffectively communicate with parents, students, staff, administrators, and districtsPlan, Organize and Supervise TripsPresent at the ESY site Coordinate room placement needs Maintain communication with parents/guardians regarding program updates and progressOrganization of breakfast and lunch distributionMonitor daily attendanceUpdates inventory and delivery of all program materials that go into storage in coordination with the ESY District CoordinatorCoordinates student bus arrivals, transitions, and dismissalOversight of input and analysis of student academic dataEmergency point of contact for district administrationProvide STAC and/or Medicaid information to the Business OfficeOther duties as required by the Directors of Special EducationIn addition to applying on OLASFor external candidates, please send your resume and cover letter to csdnr-sped@nredlearn.org by no later than April 11, 2025.
