City School District of New RochelleEmbracing Diversity: Driving SuccessJOB DESCRIPTION:The City School District of New Rochelle is seeking a Leave Replacement Elementary Special Education Teacher for our 8:1:2 ABA program. The successful candidate must have NYS Special Education Teacher Certification and experience working with children with Autism and related disabilities. Bi-lingual applicants are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include: Application of the principles of ABA across all domains, including academic, communication, social and behavioral. Provide individualized instruction to all students with a minimum per student and measures, graphs, and analyzes all student's progress on all IEP objectives daily. Analyzes student progress on a daily or moment to moment basis and works closely with Behavior Intervention Specialists to design phase and change and note objectives for each student. Work with Behavior Intervention Specialist on the development of curricula and behavior procedures followed in the class. Carry out and maintain all instructional aspects of a student’s IEP. Complete progress reports and Annual Review reports for the IEPs.
