NYS Certification in TESOLSkills:? Extensive experience with ENL strategies and literacy development.? Extensive knowledge of administration of the NYSITELL and NYSESLAT.? Extensive experience with integrated ENL classes.? Bilingual Spanish (preferred)? Responsibilities:? Plan, prepare and facilitate lessons to develop students’ language acquisition and literacy for stand-alone and integrated classes.? Lessons include integration of instructional technology and student-centered activities.? Assess students’ performance accurately and regularly; provide thoughtful and meaningful feedback for improvement.? Establish and maintain an open channel of communication with parents and school personnel.? Promote a safe and stimulating environment for all students; encourage student participation.
