Appropriate 7-12 NYS certification in BOTH Students with Disabilities AND Social Studies are required.Responsibilities include: Utilize curricula that reflect the diverse educational, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds of the students served as well as meet the new Social Studies Framework Prepare for and participate in student CSE meetings to facilitate student progress and aide in the identification of plans to address student support needs Attend and participate in Special Education/Social Studies Department meetings and complete required Professional Development Ensure awareness of and compliance with student IEPs Access and competently utilize IEP program to progress monitor for student goals and for IEP completion NYS Certification is required at time of applicationEOE: Minority and Bilingual candidates are encouraged to applyPlease do not send resumes to Human Resources: They will not be accepted
