Universal Pre-K (UPK) Teacher YMCA at Glen Cove - North Shore School District The YMCA at Glen Cove is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated UPK Teacher to join our North Shore UPK Program. Responsibilities: Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with the NYS Prekindergarten Learning Standards. Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment. Support children's academic, social, and emotional development. Communicate effectively with families and collaborate with staff. Maintain required documentation and comply with YMCA and OCFS regulations. Qualifications: NYS Early Childhood Certification (Birth–Grade 2) required. Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field. Experience teaching preschool or UPK preferred. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
