Elementary Education Leave Replacement Job Description Responsible for creating a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment that supports the academic, social, and emotional growth of students. The teacher plans and delivers developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with curriculum standards, differentiates learning experiences to meet individual student needs, and fosters a classroom culture built on respect, curiosity, and collaboration. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement engaging daily lesson plans aligned with grade-level standards and learning objectives. Provide instruction in core subject areas, including reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies. Differentiate instruction to support diverse learning styles, abilities, and individual student needs. Assess student progress through observations, assignments, assessments, and other evaluation methods. Maintain accurate student records and communicate effectively with families. Establish and maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive classroom environment. Promote students’ social-emotional development, independence, and problem-solving skills. Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and administrators to support student success. Qualifications: Valid state teaching certification/licensure (as required). Strong knowledge of elementary curriculum, instructional strategies, and child development. Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
