The North Shore Central School District is seeking a highly motivated and energetic teacher for an 8:1:1 ABA special class program serving students in grades 3–5. The successful candidate will provide individualized instruction and behavioral support in a structured classroom setting. Responsibilities include implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies, developing and monitoring IEP goals, collaborating with families and related service providers, and supporting students' academic, social, behavioral, and functional growth. Responsibilities Provide differentiated instruction aligned with students' IEPs and New York State Learning Standards. Implement ABA-based instructional and behavioral interventions. Monitor student progress through ongoing assessment and data collection. Develop, implement, and track IEP goals and objectives. Collaborate with related service providers, families, and support staff. Maintain a safe, structured, and positive learning environment. Prepare progress reports and participate in CSE meetings. Ensure compliance with all special education regulations and district policies. Qualifications New York State Certification in Special Education. Knowledge of ABA principles and experience working with students with autism and/or behavioral needs preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
