Location: North Shore Schools Start Date: December 2025 Duration: 3-month leave replacementDescription: North Shore Schools is seeking a dynamic and dedicated educator to serve as a leave replacement for 6th Grade Social Studies beginning in December 2025. This position will continue for the duration of the teacher’s leave. The ideal candidate will foster critical thinking, historical inquiry, and global awareness in a supportive middle school environment.Qualifications:Valid New York State Certification in Elementary Education or Social Studies certification with the grade 5-6 extension.Experience working with middle school students is preferred. The position is just social studies in 6th grade so strong knowledge of social studies is required.Strong classroom management and communication skills
