Job Description: Serve as the educational leader of instructional technology, special area classes, and data reporting; responsible for cultivating a safe, inclusive, and academically rigorous environment aligned with the district’s mission and values. Qualifications: - NYS SBL/SDL certification- Minimum of five years of teaching experience along with leadership experience within a school district- Fingerprinting clearance required Essential Duties (include, but are not limited to):- Promote a culture of continuous improvement aligned with district goals and New York State standards- Oversee instructional technology district-wide and ensure the effective use of all digital platforms to support instruction and improve outcomes- Supervise the support of all instructional technology equipment, software and network accounts for staff and students- Prepare, organize, and supervise the implementation of the district’s technology plan- Identify district-wide technology needs (hardware, software, supplies and hardware maintenance) and develop a budget that adequately addresses those needs- Supervise and support coordination of all aspects of the district 1:1 Chromebook initiative including operations, repair process, and refresh plan- Supervision and evaluation of special area subjects- Demonstrate working knowledge of student management systems (PowerSchool), including the ability to create templates, generate reports, and export data for administrative and instructional use- Monitor and analyze student performance data for Response to Intervention (RTI)- Reinforce strong moral and ethical values, fostering respectful, responsible citizenship in school community- Work closely with district administration to implement initiatives, comply with regulations, and contribute to the broader success of the school system- Other duties as assigned by the Superintendent of Schools or their designee Location: District OfficeDeadline: October 14, 2025Anticipated Effective: o/a December 1, 2025Application Instructions: Qualified candidates should apply via OLAS with a resume and letter of interest to Kate Caporusso, Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum, Instruction and Personnel before the deadline.
