The New Lebanon Central School District is seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a 10 month, Full-Time Hall Monitor. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the safety and security of our school community.Responsibilities:Ensure a safe and secure environment: Monitor hallways, corridors, and common areas to maintain order and prevent unauthorized access to the school premises.Supervise student behavior: Encourage positive behavior and ensure students follow school rules and policies. Address any disruptions promptly and report incidents to the appropriate staff members.Support school-wide initiatives: Contribute to the implementation of school safety programs and initiatives. Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities as required.Qualifications:Experience: Prior experience working in a school or similar environment is highly desirable. Experience in security, customer service, or working with children/adolescents is a plus.Interpersonal skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
