Supporting the recruitment, selection, assignment, onboarding, and evaluation of faculty and staff. Supporting the orientation of new staff members, including substitute teachers. Coordinating student-teacher placements, volunteer assignments, and assisting with their supervision. Assisting in the coordination of supplemental programs and services that enhance instruction. Assisting with the oversight of student behavior, discipline procedures, and extracurricular programs. Assuming responsibility for school operations in the principal’s absence. Partnering with the principal in the development and monitoring of departmental budgets, as well as the Procurement of instructional supplies and materials. Contributing to the development of schedules, teacher assignments, plans for daily school activities and extracurricular activities. Observing employee performance, maintaining accurate records of observations, and serving as a second appraiser within the district’s teacher evaluation system. Help to develop, promote, and oversee the implementation of the school’s PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports) framework. Engage in Professional Learning to continually strengthen leadership skills and job-related competencies. Assisting with routine safety inspections and facilitating school safety drills. Support district and building level-teams to analyze student performance data and support action plans for improvement.
