Certified NYS Teacher of Speech and Language Disabilities or Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped; Valid NYS License in Speech-Language Pathology; ASHA CCC-SLP preferred, but open to all strong candidates. Candidate must be able to support our elementary school students. Experienced at servicing neurodivergent learners; developing high quality IEPs, progress reports & complete speech/language evaluations for K-6 graders; work closely with classroom teachers, classroom aides and other service providers; participate in developing MTSS plans to meet students’ needs Advanced training with AAC Integration preferred with programs commonly used in schools (including high tech and low tech); Candidates holding a NYS Bilingual Extension are also strongly encouraged to apply.
