Northport-East Northport UFSDInstructional Technology Resource Teacher (ITRT) Leave Replacement (HS)- From September 1, 2023 through approximately the end of October 2023- NYS Certification in a secondary subject area 7-12- NYS Certification in Information Technology preferred but not required- Experience preferredDuties and Responsibilities: • Provides professional learning opportunities that meet the individual needs, interests, and abilities of the faculty, staff and administrators and where teachers receive support when they need it on topics relevant to their immediate classroom instruction using the following three categories: o Formal Training (group training for teachers, administrators, staff, and parents working on a specific subject or software application).o Mentoring (one-on-one training with teachers to meet their specific needs; modeling lessons / demonstrating lessons where the teacher observes a lesson; supporting teachers during their classroom lessons).o Just In Time (providing assistance to faculty or staff member at the time of need). • Collaborates with teachers on ways to integrate technology into the curriculum and daily classroom instruction, including discussions of managing student activity and behavior in a technology rich environment.• Assists faculty members, staff members and students in the school with the use of technology hardware and software as needed.• Assists with the collection and distribution of technology hardware.• Shows professionalism, including integrity and confidentiality.• Is organized and reliable.• Attends staff meetings.Application Instructions: Qualified and interested candidates MUST apply OLAS at Application Deadline: July 26, 2023
