UPK Classroom TeacherWorking for the Colonie Youth Center (Latham, NY) we are seeking a teacher to work in a UPK classroom. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of planning, organization and implementation of daily activities for the UPK classroom. They will create weekly lesson plans for the classroom and develop individual plans for each child which focus on social, cognitive and physical development. Will also be responsible for monitoring and assessing student progress and engaging parents throughout the school year. Will have supervisory oversight of the teacher aide.Monday through Friday, 8:30-3:30. $38,000-$40,000 for a 9.5 month position. Candidates must possess a valid NYS teacher certification B-2 or N-6.This position is a full-time position with health and dental benefits and paid time-off. Start date is September 19, 2022.
