The Newburgh Enlarged City School District has an immediate vacancy for a 6 year grant funded, NY GEAR UP Coordinator position. Interested applicants must meet the following qualifications:Program management skills, including a demonstrated ability to develop and oversee budgets to ensure compliance of expenditures and remaining within the established budget.Data management and analysis skills are required.Familiarity with state reporting.Ability to work effectively with students, school personnel, parents and community organizations.Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and complete reports in a timely manner. Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least three years’ experience working with parents and students.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Bilingual preferred.JOB GOAL: This position will work with current NECSD eighth graders over the next six years (through their freshman year in college) as participants in this program.
