The Department of Curriculum, Instruction and Technology at Nassau BOCES is seeking a Program Coordinator to support the Instructional Software Service. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of service management, internal operations, and district communication. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Organizing and managing subscription data, quotes, and vendor communicationsMaintaining departmental documentation and internal workflows using Microsoft 365 toolsSupporting the development and maintenance of team-based tools including Microsoft Teams, OneNote, and PlannerAssisting with internal and external communication, ensuring timely and accurate responsesCollaborating with team members to streamline processes and enhance service efficiencyCoordinating with vendors to maintain up-to-date records, pricing, and service detailsPreparing reports and supporting fiscal documentation under the guidance of the Supervisor II of Instructional Software ServiceCommunicating with school district administrators REQUIREMENTS : New York State Education Department Certification: School District Leader (SDL) or School District Administrator (SDA)Strong organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent verbal, written, and digital communication skillsExperience with Microsoft 365, including Teams, Excel, OneNote, Planner and ListsAbility to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, service-oriented environmentDemonstrate the ability to improve productivity through technologyExperience working with or understanding instructional softwareBackground and/or experience in mathematics is preferred SALARY: As per labor contractNon-Discrimination StatementThe Nassau BOCES offers employment and educational opportunities without regard to age, color, creed, disability, familial status, gender, gender expression, gender identity, marital status, military/veteran status, national origin, predisposing genetic characteristics, race, religion (including religious practice and/or expression), sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical condition), sexual orientation or victim of domestic violence status.
