The successful candidate must have experience working with students with learning, behavior and social/emotional needs and possess strong skills in differentiated and specially designed instruction. The successful candidate must have demonstrated skills in data informed-instruction, Next Generation Learning Standards and New York State Alternate Assessments (NYSAA). This person would be responsible for writing and implementing the program curriculum. REQUIREMENTS:New York Department of Education Teaching Certification - Special Education. Experience in Arts Education and/or a strong background in the Arts. Experience working with a diverse range of student needs. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Experience in providing small group instruction in academic areas is preferred.
