Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Use databases to manage the purchasing of instructional software by school districts. Provide email and phone support to component school districts and building administrators, teachers and clerical staff. Identify and manage instructional software purchases by school districts. Oversee the planning of marketing events and user groups with vendors. Arrange and attend instructional software events. Work with various vendors on purchasing agreements. Coordinate use of state-wide purchasing agreements. Coordinate with BOCES representatives from other BOCES throughout New York State. REQUIREMENTS: New York State Education Department Certification: School District Leader (SDL) or School District Administrator (SDA). Excellent managerial, interpersonal, written, verbal and communication skills. Experience with instructional technology and applications. Administrative experience and at least three years of teaching experience.
