Description:The Nassau BOCES’ Department of Health and Allied Services is seeking a School Psychologist. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to conducting psychological re-evaluations, developing, and monitoring FBAs & BIPs, delivering individual and group counseling as per student IEP mandates, supporting students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs, and maintaining accurate records, counseling logs, and Medicaid related documents.Requirements:• NYS Certification: School Psychologist is required• Experience with Chairing Committee on Special Education (CSE), 504 meetings, mandated school counseling and risk assessments. • Knowledge of Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)• Excellent written, verbal, and communication skillsApply on OLAS and Click here
