The Department of Special Education at Nassau BOCES is seeking a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (1.0 FTE). The successful candidate will provide itinerant services to students in our schools and component districts.Requirements:- NYS Certification: Deaf and Hard of Hearing is required- Knowledge and experience working with students classified with hearing loss and/or deafness- Experience with FM systems and cochlear implants is highly preferred- Strong interpersonal skills are required
