The Mount Vernon City school District is seeking interested applicants to fill a vacancy for the Data Analyst with the Office of School Improvement for the 2022-23 school year. The Data Analyst will work under the direction of the Superintendent of Schools and will serve in a facilitator capacity to effectively support and provide school improvement-related data services to constituents. The Analyst will work closely with district and building leadership to present and facilitate the understanding of data which the teams rely on and will compile standardized reports and data sets from various websites, databases, and spreadsheets while ensuring complete accuracy and quality of data. The successful applicant MUST have a master’s degree in a relevant analytical field; e.g. Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics; have at least 6 months of relevant experience, a demonstrated analytical mindset and strong attention to detail. Additionally, the applicant MUST have a demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities on time and within a fast-paced deadline driven environment; have a demonstrated ability to work independently and with a team; have a confirmed proficiency using MS Suite and proven technical savvy.
