The Mount Vernon City school District is seeking interested applicants to fill a vacancy for the 2022-23 District Treasurer with the Business Office. The District Treasurer will administer the fiscal affairs of the District efficiently, expeditiously, and to the ultimate benefit of each student enrolled; Will assist in preparing financial reports for federal, state, and local agencies, the Board of Education, the Assistant Superintendent for Business and Operations, and the Superintendent of Schools. The Treasurer will assist with establishing accounting records and procedures to conform to district policy, state, and federal requirements, expense accounting and distribution of revenues into proper fund accounts.
