Application Deadline: 4/3/26 Start Date: 7/1/26 Starting Salary: $110,000, consideration will be given for previous work experience Reports to: Superintendent of Schools Position Overview We are seeking a visionary and highly collaborative High School Principal to serve as the instructional leader of our secondary school. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering a safe, inclusive, and rigorous learning environment that prepares all students for college, career, and citizenship. Candidates must be able to: Demonstrate mastery level understanding of NYS standards, diverse graduation pathways, and be able to utilize data-driven practices to improve student achievement. Create a positive, safe, and welcoming learning environment for all students. Possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with students, staff, the Board of Education, and the public. Build strong, professional relationships with faculty and staff, promoting a culture of professional growth, accountability, and collective efficacy. Serve as the face of the high school, actively promoting family engagement and transparent communication with all stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of the building’s strategic goals. Supervise and evaluate instructional and non-instructional staff (APPR). Oversee student discipline, attendance, and social-emotional support systems. Promote academic excellence. Oversee the building budget, master scheduling, and personnel evaluations with precision and integrity. Manage the day to day building- level operations.
