Chair and facilitate the district’s behavioral threat assessment management (BTAM) teamChair and facilitate the district’s bullying prevention committeeServe as the district's dignity act coordinator (DAC)Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Superintendent of SchoolsThe successful candidate will possess:A successful record of experience as a school leader; AP or other.Current and appropriate New York State administrative SBL or SDL certification,Knowledge of current best practices and programs for school safetyA passionate belief in the capacity of all children to learn and succeed and a sense of urgency about making that real for MCSD students,Ability to understand and use data to drive decision making, Consensus building, strategic and collaborative management skills, Ability to work well under pressure,Strong communication skills,Promoting a supportive school climate and knowledge with social-emotional competencies, restorative practices, and culturally responsive educationA demonstrated knowledge of teacher supervision and evaluation,A demonstrated ability to provide leadership and to assist in supervising the overall security of the school TIME OF WORKDAY: As per current MASA Contract SALARY RANGE: Salary commensurate with experience and education, starting is no less than $100,000The Monticello Central School District is in Sullivan County, NY, centrally located between New York City, Albany, and the Pocono Mountain region.
