22-23(139)Position: IEP / Evaluation Coordinator - Preschool Evaluation Unit Qualifications: Certified School Psychologist , School or Licensed Social Worker (Licensed or Master’s Level) Description/ Responsibilities: Coordinates the timely completion of comprehensive preschool evaluations Completes classroom observations for screenings/evaluations/intakes Completes Social Histories Completes Preschool Evaluation Summary Reports per NYSED regulations Supervises the maintenance of accurate student evaluation files Responds to parent and school district inquiries pertaining to student’s evaluation status Enters evaluation data into Frontline drafts for initial eligibility and annual review meeting Ensures that all supporting documents are sent to parents and/or school districts prior to meetings Serves as a liaison to the school district Committee on Preschool Special Education Attends CPSE Meetings to interpret findings to parents and committee members Compiles the data needed to complete the Child Outcomes Summary Reports for all entering and exiting preschool students with disabilities, enters the data in the tables for SJS Community Preschool Assists the related service providers of SJS Community Preschool in the scheduling and provision of services to meet IEP mandates Communicates regularly with Monticello PPS regarding provider caseloads, IEP compliance Manages counseling caseload for SJS Community Preschool
