ADMINISTRATIVE VACANCY Title: Executive Assistant for Instructional Technology and InnovationAssignment: Probationary Qualifications: Must hold NYS School District Administrator (SDA) School District Leader (SDL) certification Must have a minimum of five years successful teaching experience Must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Must have a demonstrated record of collaborating with all stakeholders Must have a strong background in technology and instruction Reports to: Executive Director for Technology and General Administration Job Responsibilities: Provide leadership and supervision of the instructional technology team, which includes Technology Learning Coaches and Computer Teaching Assistants Create a culture where teachers and learners are empowered to use technology in innovative ways to enrich teaching and learning Engage in establishing a vision, strategic plan and ongoing evaluation cycle through data analysis for transforming instruction and learning with technology Build systems to implement, sustain and continually improve the use of technology, including instructional resources/platforms and devices, to support learning Collaborate with the leadership team and technology team to provide meaningful, authentic and continuous professional development with clear outcomes, effective modeling and active participation Facilitate the successful implementation and ongoing support of previous, current and future initiatives, including, but not limited to, 1:1 Chromebooks, Google Workspace, Schoology, Promethean Displays Create and develop district resources to support the successful use of technology for all stakeholders Create and actively participate in professional learning communities to promote collaboration and student achievement Support instruction and student learning through the teacher observation and evaluation process Any other responsibilities assigned by the Executive Director for Technology and General Administration and the Superintendent of Schools Apply via OLAS only (no emails, fax, or mail).
