The chosen candidates will be hard-working, dedicated team-players who take pride in providing a clean, orderly environment for our students and staff. Job Responsibilities * Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, washing walls, windows and other equipment/facilities, emptying waste baskets, disposing of assorted rubbish, refilling paper towels, toilet paper, etc. * Cleansing and disinfecting of bathrooms, kitchens and other areas * Set-up/move/remove furniture for various building needs * Secure windows/doors and other areas * Remove snow/leaves/debris from the immediate vicinity of buildings * General painting and other basic maintenance tasks * Other basic tasks as assigned by their supervisor Job Qualifications * Ability to communicate clearly * Ability to lift as much as 50 lbs * Ability to stand/walk most of the work day * Ability to work overtime * Ability to pass a background screening by Civil Service. Fingerprinting will be necessary at employee's own expense.
