The Moravia Central School District is seeking a dynamic, collaborative educator for a tenure-track Instructional Coach for Literacy position (PK-8). Literacy certification preferred. The qualified candidate will assume the following responsibilities:- Assist teachers with planning, delivery of instructional practices, and the scaffolding of instruction.- Coach teachers in the areas of curriculum, assessment, and instruction through individual and small group co-planning, co-teaching, co-observations, and co-reflection. Mentor teachers during their probationary period.- Coordinate with other district leaders to create and deliver professional development programs for all educators and build the professional capacity of all educators across the District.- Actively participate and facilitate school and grade-level meetings as a part of our Professional Learning Community (PLC).- Knowledge of the Science of Reading and able to support teachers to adapt their instructional practices.Please submit a letter of interest, resume, and references to the attention of John Birmingham, Superintendent of Schools
