The Drama teacher will help students as both individuals and groups, will foster an appreciation of Theatre, and provide a joyful and supportive learning environment for dramatic development. This title requires the applicant to have in-depth, comprehensive, and appropriate work experience in the production, direction and/or performance of theatrical works (e.g., comedy, drama, musical). Experience may include, but is not limited to, theatre acting, costume design, directing, stage management or stagecraft, playwriting, screenwriting, theatre history, design, technology, criticism, and management. We seek to provide meaningful drama development for our students which will focus on trauma informed practices with special needs children. Candidates should be energetic, collaborative, and progressive-minded with a focus on SEL and trauma-based practices.
