Montauk UFSD is seeking a K–8 Technology Teacher to provide technology instruction, support staff in instructional technology integration, and ensure compliance with Education Law 2-D and data privacy regulations.Responsibilities include the ability to: Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate computer and technology instruction for students in grades K–8, aligned with NYS Learning Standards and ISTE Standards.Teach a range of technology skills including coding, productivity tools, responsible digital citizenship, and online safety.Integrate technology to support student learning and collaborate with staff on instructional technology initiatives.Promote and uphold Ed Law 2-D compliance and district data privacy policies.Maintain classroom technology and participate in ongoing professional development.Qualifications:Required: NYS Certification in Childhood Education 1-6, Educational Technology Specialist Certification preferred.Strong pedagogical skills and knowledge of instructional technology integration.Familiarity with Ed Law 2-D and student data privacy requirements.Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.Preferred:Experience teaching technology at the elementary or middle school level.Knowledge of Google Workspace for Education, learning management systems, and coding/programming tools.Application Procedure:Interested candidates should submit the following via OLAS:Cover letterResumeThree professional referencesMontauk UFSD is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to creating an inclusive, innovative learning environment for all students.
