The Morrisville-Eaton Central School District is looking for a School Psychologist Intern. Position Title : School Psychologist Intern Reports To : District School Psychologist & Building Principal(s) Location : District-Wide (based primarily at Edward R. Andrews Elementary School) Status : 10-Month, Non-Instructional (2026-2027 school year) Key Responsibilities : Under the supervision of the District School Psychologist: · Provide individual and small-group counseling and social-emotional skill-building. · Assist in the development and implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). · Observe, collect, and analyze behavioral and academic data to inform interventions. · Participate in building- and district-level Instructional Support Teams (Academic IST and Behavioral IST). · Contribute to ROI analyses and data-based decision-making for student interventions and supports. · Support psychoeducational assessment components for initial referrals and triennial re-evaluations (administration of supervised portions only, as allowed by NYSED/University guidelines). · Collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators to promote positive behavioral, academic, and social-emotional outcomes. · Develop and deliver professional development for student-facing staff (behavior strategies, SEL supports, progress monitoring). · Complete all required university internship components consistent with NASP standards Qualifications : · Actively enrolled in a graduate program leading to New York State School Psychologist Certification. · Ability to travel within the community as needed (mileage reimbursement available with proper documentation). · Experience or coursework related to culturally responsive practices preferred. · Strong attendance record expected. · Must successfully complete a fingerprint-based background check (fee required).
