Duties: The Corporate & Community Education Coordinator is a civil service administrator position that reports to the Director of Adult & Continuing Education. Duties include but are not limited to: act as liaison between the secondary and adult education programs; develop, schedule and oversee all adult education course offerings at the Verona campus. Recruit, orient and supervise instructors; serve as point of contact for all students and instructors; monitor registrations, enrollments and determine financial feasibility of course offerings. Provide support to new instructors: acquire and/or help develop instructional materials, prepare requisitions for materials/supplies; provide feedback to improve quality of programs and instruction. Work with a team to develop marketing materials including course catalogs and brochures and coordinate staff participation at local career and job fairs. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business or education preferred or experience in related field. Candidates should be well versed in Microsoft Suite and possess excellent communication and listening skills. Applicants should be prepared to work independently and as an effective team member. The BOCES adult education vocational and avocational programs are ever-changing and evolving, which requires someone with creative ideas and who is interested in learning and doing research to bring their ideas to life. Hours vary and include limited evening hours as needed. Must meet civil service requirements for Business Education Program Specialist.
