Duties: Provide classroom assistance to teachers in an alternative and/or special education setting for students with disabilities and students who have difficulty managing behavior in a typical school. Participate in school efforts to improve school climate.Qualifications: Must possess or qualify for Teaching Assistant License. Experience working with students with behavioral difficulties. Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training preferred.Location of Position: Secondary Programs, Madison-Oneida BOCES, Verona, NYTerm of Employment: Full Time -10-month positionSalary: Contingent upon education and experience and according to the Madison-Oneida BOCES Teacher/Teaching Assistant Contract.Starting Date: ASAP
