Duties: The Mohawk Regional Information Center (MORIC) is seeking an online learning instructor with New York State certification and experience in differentiated instruction. This role involves delivering daily synchronous online learning support to students enrolled in our virtual learning & tutoring services during regular school hours.Key Responsibilities:Provide consistent, high-quality online instruction in virtual environments.Build strong relationships with students, caregivers, and home school districts.Demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and progress-monitoring skills.The MORIC offers school districts a range of online courses taught by NYS-certified teachers. These interactive online courses provide students individualized learning opportunities when they cannot participate in a traditional in-person setting.Qualifications: Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in an education-related field, NYS certification required, experience teaching in an online/virtual environment is preferred.Location: Mohawk Regional Information CenterTerm of Employment: Full timeSalary: Based on experienceStarting Date: September 3, 2024Application Deadline: August 30, 2024
