Duties: Academic Integration Math Specialist will work collaboratively with Career and Technical Education instructors to plan, deliver and assess student learning activities in relation to Math. Specialist will ensure that all NYS approved CTE curriculum integrates contextualized academic content that meets the NYSED standards in Math. Candidate must be flexible, creative and willing to teach and/or co-teach, assist CTE instructional staff with differentiation of instruction, collaborate in assessing student work, be open to providing CTE staff with professional development on creative Math integration, and meet consistently with CTE instructors to plan the integration of Math into lessons.Qualifications: New York State Education Department certification or eligible for certification in Math 7-12.Location of Position: Rossetti Education Center, Madison-Oneida BOCESTerm of Employment: 10-month positionSalary: Contingent upon experience and education according to Teacher’s ContractStarting Date: September 1, 2024
