Duties: Provide supervision and instruction to adult students in the Dental Assistant 130 hour program. Topics covered may include dental anatomy and physiology, infection control in the dental environment, basic life support health care professionals, responding to office emergencies, chair side procedures, and employment seeking skills.Qualifications: Preferred candidates would be Dental Assistants or Hygienists with a minimum of 5 years of work experience. Teaching and customer service experience, effective verbal communication, and public relations skills a plus. Pre-employment background check & drug test may be required.Location of Position: BOCES Consortium of Continuing Education, Oneida Herkimer Madison BOCES- Adult Education Program, New Hartford, NYTerm of Employment: Part-time (Evenings), no benefitsSalary: Contingent upon education and experienceStarting Date: Fall 2023
