Duties: Academic Integration ELA Specialist will work collaboratively with Career and Technical Education instructors to plan, deliver and assess student learning activities in relation to ELA. Specialist will ensure that all NYS approved CTE curriculum integrates contextualized academic content that meets the NYSED standards in English Language Arts. Candidate must be flexible, creative and willing to teach and/or co-teach, assist CTE instructional staff with differentiation of instruction, collaborate in assessing student work, be open to providing CTE staff with professional development on ELA/Literacy skills, and meet consistently with CTE instructors to plan the integration of ELA into lessons.Qualifications: New York State Education Department certification or eligible for certification in English Language Arts 9-12.Location of Position: Rossetti Education Center, Madison Oneida BOCESTerm of Employment: 10-month positionSalary: Contingent upon experience and education according to Teacher’s Contract.Starting Date: September 1, 2023
