Duties include direct instruction, testing/assessment, maintaining accurate record keeping andaccountability for student achievement and retention. Seeking candidates with experienceteaching or supervising adults and out-of-school youth, with the ability to work with a diversepopulation to deliver basic academic skill instruction as well as high school equivalency preparation: comfortable teaching adults and out-of-school youth who may have learningdifficulties and/or challenging behaviors. Candidates must be self-disciplined and able to workindependently.Bachelor Degree in Education and/or Special Education; NYS Teacher Certificationrequired. Teaching experience, effective verbal communication, and public relations skills aplus.
