Duties: The Instructional Technology Integration Specialist will assist administrators andteachers in accelerating learning by integrating technology in schools. The position's primaryfocus is to provide professional development support to enrich teaching and learning byincorporating technology into daily instruction. Additionally, the Instructional TechnologyIntegration Specialist will support the implementation and continued professionaldevelopment of various educational technology software across the region.In this role, candidates assist in developing and implementing curriculum and technology integration projects, working side-by-side with classroom teachers and instructional leaders across the region. Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Using technologies to support standards-based instructionIntegrating new technologies into classroom practicesSupporting regional usage of educational technology softwareDeveloping and facilitating regional workshops, webinars, or coursesDiscovering new uses for classroom technology toolsFocusing on cooperative, project-based, and interdisciplinary work with technology being just one of the many tools that students useJob requires some travel between school districts for training and support within a five-county radius (Madison, Oneida, Herkimer, Jefferson, and Lewis Counties). Qualifications: NYS Teacher Certification preferred.
