Duties: Assist students in the satisfactory completion of a phlebotomy program which will prepare them to take the National Phlebotomy Association exam. Topics covered will be phlebotomy theory and skills, CPR, infection control and professional development. The course will be comprised of both classroom theory and clinical experience.Qualifications: Candidate must be either a Nationally Certified Phlebotomist with at least 1 year of experience working in the field of phlebotomy or have knowledge of phlebotomy and be certified or licensed in one of the following allied health fields; Medical Assistant, Medical Technology, Medical Technician, Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Respiratory Therapist or Laboratory Assistant. Prior teaching is preferred.
