The Mineola School district is seeking a highly motivated English/SPED teacher to join our team. The successful candidate must possess:Outstanding communication skills.Proven ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with all members of the school community.Strong knowledge of literacy and language acquisition including The Workshop Model and other evidence based instructional frameworks.Experience using instructional technology to enhance the learning experience.Expertise in differentiated instruction to reach all students.Ability to collaborate with a highly respected faculty to inspire continued excellence and growth.Successful teaching experience preferred.NYS certification in English (Grades 7-12) required.NYS certification in Students with Disabilities required.NYS certification in TESOL preferred.Effective: May 4, 2025Certification: Above position requires appropriate NY State CertificationSalary: as per MTA ContractPlease apply to www.olasjobs.org by April 13, 2026
